Millennials Are Killing Businesses
This is just a quick note to the journalists out there that keep writing about how Millennials have killed, damaged, or are in the process of destroying, killing, or damaging a particular industry or business:
Not participating as a consumer in any type of business or industry does not automatically make someone an aggressor. These pieces are often worded as if there is some sort of malice behind Millennials not spending their money on something. It’s entirely possible for someone to not be interested in something but harbor no ill-will towards it. Maybe the businesses and industries that are being affected by this situation should focus more on understanding the people they’d like to have as customers, or maybe just start with understanding the era that we’re all currently living in.
